Our History

1985 - Humble Beginnings

Patrick Wurzbach started with just 50 acres of family land and a passion for agriculture. Initially focusing on corn and sorghum production, the farm quickly gained a reputation for quality crops.

1992 - Expansion into Consulting

After helping neighboring farms improve their yields, Wurzbach Farms officially began offering agricultural consulting services to farms throughout Medina County.

1998 - Equipment Services

Recognizing the need for modern equipment among smaller farms, we expanded into equipment rental and maintenance services, allowing family farms to access technology they couldn't otherwise afford.

2005 - Technology Integration

Wurzbach Farms became one of the first agricultural consultants in South Texas to incorporate GPS guidance systems and precision agriculture into our service offerings.

2012 - Organic Certification Support

As consumer demand for organic products grew, we developed a comprehensive program to help conventional farms transition to certified organic production.

2018 - Drone Technology

We incorporated drone monitoring and aerial imaging into our services, allowing for more precise crop management and early problem detection.

Today

Now in our fourth decade of operation, Wurzbach Farms continues to blend traditional agricultural wisdom with cutting-edge technology to serve the farming community of South Texas.
